Westbourne Academy is part of the family of Academy Transformation Trust academies.

Our mission is to transform learning, aspirations and opportunities for all our pupils, and the communities in which they live.

We believe that every child matters and deserves a first class education. We believe everyone has hidden potential to be uncovered and nurtured.

Our extensive family of primary and secondary academies are based in the Midlands, East of England and South East.

Download Microsoft Office 2013 at Home

We recognise that not all students have access to computers and printers at home to help them with their home learning and coursework.  All of our students are issued with a personal log in and password which allows them to access our academy network and a host of related applications when they are in school. Our Learning Resource Centre is equipped with computers and a printer and any student can take advantage of this resource at lunchtime and after school.

When at home, students with access to a laptop/PC and the internet can log into their O365 account to check their school emails and also to have full access to the online versions of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, OneNote and PowerPoint).

Our Microsoft Licensing also allows all students to download and install up to 5 copies of Office 2013 for home/personal use. This can be downloaded and installed on any capable personal laptop or PC.

To download Office 2013, your child should first go to our academy website, click on the Office 365 logo (above our Twitter feed) and log into their O365 account on the laptop/PC you wish to install it on.

On the top/right of your screen you should see a message like this:Office 2013 download message

Click on the ‘Install now’ link and follow the instructions.

Please note that these products are licensed whilst the student is attending Westbourne Academy, but when they leave Westbourne they will no longer be licenced, and so Microsoft would expect them to unistall the product or to purchase a valid licence.
